Denise M. Cox is Vice President of Donald K. Pierce & Company. Denise started her insurance career in 1977 with Pierce & Company. She holds the Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation, the Associate in Risk Management (ARM), and has qualified for the Continuing Professional Development award from the Society of CPCU.  She remains active in various CPCU committees. Denise has served as an Expert Witness for the insurance industry. She teaches insurance classes at Macomb Community College.

She is currently the Secretary of the Independent Insurance Agents of Macomb County as well as Board Representative for the Michigan Association of Insurance Agents.

Denise has a B.S. in Business Administration and a Masters in Business Administration from Wayne State University.

Denise has served as President of Michigan Gemini Users Group, an insurance related computer software program organization. She has been active in the Big Brother/Big Sister program and Junior Achievement. Denise is also active with Volunteer Impact and the Hospice of Henry Ford. She also serves on the Reception Committee for the Economic Club of Detroit. Her hobbies include scuba diving, travel, tennis and golf. Denise is also a Certified Personal Trainer.
